The Williamson Family have been sugar makers since 1936. We began with 500 buckets and a horse drawn collection tank in great-grandpa’s day. We have grown, but still remain old fashioned in a lot of ways. We collect the sap with our biodiesel-run tractor, in the mindset of keeping our farm sustainable as much as we can. Today we have 2000 taps, and use pipe line with gravity feed.

Sugaring may only last for six weeks in the spring, but the work starts in December, as we walk all the sap lines and check everything by hand for damage. We hope you enjoy our syrup as much as we enjoy making it. We hope our love of the woods and the sweet old tradition shines through.
